Grimsby Jazz Projects, East Marsh United, and Grimsby Central Hall are thrilled to present Organology, a stunning collaboration bringing a fresh and dynamic energy to the classic Jazz Organ Trio format.
Experience a night of revolutionary sound, vibrant improvisation, and musical mastery as three of the finest instrumentalists in contemporary jazz take the stage:
● Gilad Atzmon (Alto Saxophone): Internationally recognized as one of the world’s greatest woodwind players, Gilad is the founder of the Orient House Ensemble and was the last saxophonist to record with Pink Floyd.
● Ross Stanley (Hammond Organ): Britain’s most in-demand jazz artist, Ross has performed with countless stars both at home and abroad.
● Joel Barford (Drums): Hailed as the future of British jazz, this rising star brings an electrifying, youthful energy to the trio.
Spanning three generations of jazz excellence, Organology blends deep respect for jazz tradition with innovation, flair, and spirit. Following the recording of their debut album with Aesthetiko Musicians Collective, their live performance is a musical spectacle not to be missed!
